My love for Fat Cow

I truly cannot put into words how much I love Fat Cow.

Fat Cow has been there for me through everything:

after track meets, after school, summer days when there is nothing to do, wow

Their milkshakes make me sing,

Their burgers make me cry with happiness,

The whole place is perfect.

And I know when I have stress,

I go to Fat Cow and I have so much respect

for the owners, the workers, and most of all cows.

  1. HAHA I love this poem! I share a love of Fat Cow and you could not have described the restaurant any better. Great job incorporating a rhyme scheme and caesura into your poem.

  2. There are three things that I cannot do without in this world. Burgers, shakes, and video games. Two of the three things that I mentioned are in this post. Hats off to you and your profound love for the most American thing that I could ever imagine!

F.B.I. Raids Office of Trump’s Longtime Lawyer Michael Cohen

F.B.I. Raids Office of Trump’s Longtime Lawyer Michael Cohen; Trump Calls It ‘Disgraceful’   by Matt Apuzzo. This article written  about Michael Cohen, who works for Donald Trump. He was raided Monday Morning. The F.B.I. had a warrant going to his house and office taking emails, documents, records and many other documents concerning Donald Trump. The author's opinion doesn't seem very opinionated , just factual. I would guess that the author is not in favor of Donald Trump since the writer works for the New York Times, but it's very hard to tell.  The raid definitely  means that there will be something to find connecting the affair of Trump and Stormy Daniels. What confuses me is why Trump calls it 'breaking in' if they had the right to raid because of a warrant. I think that Trump is trying to make it sound like the FBI are the ones who are in trouble. I chose this article because I heard about what happened this morning and I love the New York Times and how i

A Flash Story

It was 7 A.M. when Jerry woke up to his bed shaking. He starts to run out of the room and everything else is moving too. He is freaking out because he is home alone and has no idea what to do. He leaves his mom a voicemail, “mom I don’t know what to do the ground is shaking and I think there is an earthquake, I lo- love you and-and I miss you. By-bye mom.” He creeps to the front door and see the unthinkable. There are three hundred pigs running through his neighborhood. Jerry doesn’t even believe it. The humongous pigs stop and are wandering around the neighborhood, breaking into people’s houses, cornering everyone they find. Jerry darts towards the attic. He starts to pull down the stars for the attic when he sees a huge pig staring at him. The pig grabs his leg and drags him out of the house mercilessly. The wild pig pulls him where the rest of the people are. After the pigs find everyone they get out their napkins and then charge- Jerry opens his eyes and looks

The Hate U Give by Angie Thomas

I loved The Hate U Give a lot. It only took me about a week to finish because it was so fascinating. I have a theory about why Starr was wearing the hoodie the night Khalil was shot. An African American man was shot by a police officer wearing a black hoodie as well. His name was Trayvon Martin. He is very well known due to the protests of his death. People argue that Trayvon was killed because he looked ‘suspicious’. In the book kids at Starr’s school responded to his death by saying that he looked suspicious and so that is why he died.       My favorite character is Starr because I loved watching her develop and finally stand up to the shooter and everyone else who thought it was okay for Khalil to die. Starr’s friend Hailey argued with Starr about the shooting and said that he should have died. Starr ignored the comment at first but then she stood up to her and that was my favorite part of the book. This was a very deep book and it was so much fun to
